lumber to the face
ever try backflipping? on solid ground? you're crazy. that's why i use mulch piles or sand. even better, the pile of shredded wood my friend and i ran into today was at least ten feet at the tallest. only thing is, he never did a backflip. i ran and jumped into the mulch, did backflips and mulch-wall flips and waited and coaxed while he was "attempting" to do a backflip for well over half an hour. all he did was hop up and down, throw his arms around, curl his legs every once in a while, and complain about not being able to do it. he claimed that he just couldn't make himself pass that threshold of his head being above the rest of his body. i admit, it can be very nerve-wracking, but i was seven feet below where i started while he would have landed only a foot below. oh, and i wasn't landing on the ground, there was plenty of mulch spread around at least a foot and a half deep. we're going back tomorrow to let him try again. if he doesn't do it i may have to push or throw him.
applications are just too much. how much time do they think i have? i have a life people!
